Traffic and transportation issues in Pune are turning crucial day-by-day. Major steps need to be taken to solve this situation. Janwani has been helping various Govt and Semi-Govt agencies by providing e-systems to collate and disseminate crucial info to citizens.
Similarly, Janwani intends to shape up a traffic portal which would add in facilitating the traffic issue in Pune to some extent.
The proposed traffic portal would be sponsored and coordinated by Janwani. Janwani would provide this portal to the citizens of Pune; so that the data available can be efficiently viewed and used for the ease of citizens.
The whole objective behind this traffic portal is synchronizing the crucial traffic information and providing it in user friendly manner to citizens so that movement of traffic is optimized.
Although Pune police are dealing with this matter and trying to improve the traffic situation in Pune, Janwani believes providing such tool – to handle information and deliver it dynamically to citizens will greatly assist in coping up with traffic situation.
At a later stage this portal and the services offered might also be supported by Google India for maps.
To sustain and maintain this site, Janwani intends to develop a business model based on some value added services and advertisements. This is because the success of this portal shall largely depend on timely updation of information.

2. Emergency and contingent traffic plans can be modified.
3. Service will be available at doorsteps of citizens.
